From the supplier: A law professor discusses posterity and the tie between past and future generations in the context of constitutional law and the history of slavery. The US and US constitutional law are still in the process of development and so efforts should be made to improve the future of Afro-Americans through law and social reform. However, attempting to compensate Afro-Americans for slavery is inefficient and useless. People must accept the lessons of the past and move beyond them to improve the future.
