From the supplier: Construction insurance wrap-up programs have proven cost effective to some organizations, but they have not generated savings for others. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (Authority) used the program successfully during the expansion and development of facilities at the Washington National Airport. As a result, the Authority saved more than $1 million in premiums, reduced man-hour losses and workers'injuries within a year of the program's implementation. However, several problems are raised, including complications in workers' and contractors' insurance coverage.
