From the supplier: Officers of the Independent Insurance Agents of America and the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents have blamed the termination of merger talks on philosophical differences and a lack of future vision but have failed to consider their individual members' problems. Members and state associations must now decide which national association to join. Most agents would chose an association that gave them a voice in policy. The future of the national associations may depend on what changes they make.
