From the supplier: Security managers tend to overreact to the requirements of the 1991 amendments to the Bank Protection Act (BPA). While some security professionals see the revised BPA as a requirement for separate security programs for each branch, others view it as a mandated annual security survey of each branch. In general, the revised BPA merely shifts responsibility to security officers and boards of directors and provides them with more discretion in issues pertaining to bank security.
