This will decrease false-alarm rates and improve overall security. Operating codes should be obtained and kept accessible. Keys to control boxes, panels and make-up or splice boxes should be accessible when needed. Documentation on security systems should include operator's manuals for all functions, layouts of areas of protection, printouts from central stations which contain all information on the system. User training should also be implemented.
