From the supplier: The Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) was established in 1975 by Congress to regulate the activities of brokers and dealers of municipal securities. In 1989, the MSRB started work on the Municipal Securities Information Library (MSIL) system. Composed of the Official Statement/Advance Refunding subsystem and the Continuing Disclosure Information pilot, the MSIL acts as storage facility for information regarding municipal securities. The new system has already spawned other products introduced by subscribers.
