From the supplier: The process that banking institutions should use to become marketing-oriented organizations must be approached in two phases. Phase I involves building a marketing framework and bringing existing marketing systems in line with that framework. Phase I will take about three to five years to complete. Phase II uses the new framework to make institutions effective competitors. The factors that support strong, marketing-oriented organizations include the selection and retention of the right employees, a commitment to marketing research, and effective product development and management.
