From the supplier: A Christian economic order exists if people have ample material resources for a comfortable life and not just for subsistence. As such, people pursue virtue, serve for the common good and produce quality things without being absorbed with the desire for mere pecuniary returns. The Catholic Church believes an economic order can be achieved only if all sectors of society help to attain it, if economic and human rights are protected by governments and if virtue is practiced.
