From the supplier: Food processors are introducing aseptic inline ohmic sterilization/heating systems for pasteurization based on British technology licensed to APV Baker. Pasteurization is achieved through heat created by an electric current that is generated by sanitary electrodes hooked-up to an electromagnet. The system can be useful in pasteurizing fluids that have a high particulate content. Land O' Lakes (Minneapolis, MN) and Nissei Co (Japan) are two food processors that are using the system.
