From the supplier: A study was conducted to analyze variations between financial ratios of large public and small business companies. The study evaluates the two groups across several industry types. Results show that small private and large public companies exhibit variations in industry average ratios, which are expressed across all leverage ratios. Variations are absent in liquidity ratios, some profitability and miscellaneous expense ratios.
