From the supplier: Dental researchers established the intercausality of whiplash and temporomandibular disorders (TMD) in the 1980s and showed that whiplash victims were predisposed to TMD. The dental profession's success at curing patients of pain improved significantly after this recognition. High-tech innovations used by dentists to diagnose and treat these disorders include sonography, computerized mandibular scanners and myomonitors.
