From the supplier: The New York Law School's fund-raising efforts provide ample illustration of the value of donor recognition. The law school began its capital campaign in 1989 with the key goal of raising funds for its scholarship endowment program. In the years since, the school has succeeded in raising its level of endowments from $1.7 million in 1989 to $4.6 million in 1993. Its principal tool has been a recogition program which encourages scholars to acknowledge the assistance of donors, revitalizes idle funds by improving communication with new and old donors and strengthens ties between donors and scholars.
