From the supplier: The US government has a crucial role in promoting the use of electric vehicles (EVs) to solve the growing air pollution problem. The EV's electric drive is the ideal alternative to an internal combustion engine because it neither causes air pollution nor global warming. EVs also do not use petroleum, thereby reducing the country's need to import the fuel source. The shift toward EVs will be successful if experiments on a diversity of technologies are extensively carried out.
