Worldwide Identity and Access Compliance 2005-2009 Forecast and Analysis

This IDC study discusses IDC's belief that identity and access management (IAM) will emerge as a key component of a compliance platform. IDC predicts that compliance and corporate governance initiatives will significantly drive identity and access management software spending in 2005 and 2006. "Particularly in the IAM space, security products and services that can simplify the implementation and management of compliance regulations will be important," says Christian Christiansen, vice president of Security Products and Services for IDC.
