From the supplier: A more substantial reduction in alfalfa populations can be realized with the use of conventional moldboard plow-based field preparation in corn production into alfalfa sod than with the no-till field preparation. The former applied combinations of cyanazine or metolachlor and atrazine at planting, while the latter used applied combinations of cyanazine or metolachlor and atrazine and dicamba. Specifically, the no-till technique reduced alfalfa stand by 69% while the plow system posted a decrease of 98%.
