From the supplier: Consumers are becoming increasing concerned that the privacy of their financial information lodged with banks and credit information firms is becoming impaired. The capacity of banks to manage and store customer information has significantly increased and costs have declined sharply. Three principles on the proper maintenance of customer information are presented. Customers should know how information provided will be used, they should be notified about alternative uses of their information and they should have the right to stop unauthorized use of information.
