From the supplier: An econometric model of the giving behavior of liberal arts college alumni determines factors associated with donation. The model was developed by analyzing the relations between the size of contributions and the individual characteristics of alumnus. Factors positively related to individual giving include income, age, alumni activity, being single, an engineering degree and fraternity/sorority affiliation. Factors negatively related to giving, on the other hand, include unemployment and distance of current residence to college.
