From the supplier: Recent reports suggest that only 15% of the donor base in the US, as opposed to the earlier-reported 20%, is responsible for the majority of contributed income to the nation's charities. The dwindling number of willing donors implies that efforts directed towards caring for donors must be doubly enhanced. To get better acquainted with one's important donors, an annual cultivation plan must be designed to strengthen one's relationship with the major donors and to attract new major donors. Guidelines on how to make a cultivation plan work are presented.
