From the supplier: The US Supreme Court's decision in Commissioner vs. Soliman established a precedent in the determination of a home-based office as a taxpayer's principal place of business. The IRS issued Rev. Rul. 94-24 to categorize a home office as a principal business location based on the relative importance of work done in all business locations and the amount of time spent at each business location.
