From the supplier: Brian Roe has misinterpreted his findings on the effect of the wife's wage rate on family decision to migrate. The model reveals that an increase in the wife's wages will never increase the probability of migration of her family and will weaken the probability of migration if the wife is employed. This conclusion is contrary to Roe's claim despite the alleged errors on two partial derivatives.
