From the supplier: Advancing tire industry technologies allow tire retreading manufacturers to combine the normally separate techniques of re-curing and precuring to provide a single method of retreading that increases overall cost-effectiveness. The use of urethane adhesives comprised of an insoluble polyhydroxyl compound as well as polyether and polyester polymers allow for the re-curing of tire treads at lower elevated temperatures and do not require mixing. The URS-1100 one-part adhesive proves extremely effective and can be stored at room temperature.
