From the supplier: Studies reveal that anabolic steroid use significantly reduces the levels of high-density lipoprotein fraction of cholesterol. Such lipid profile changes were observed even after steroid users abstained for eight weeks and that antiatherogenic levels were attained only after 7.3 months of steroid cessation. Results also show that apolipoprotein levels can be used more effectively than lipoprotein measurements in predicting coronary artery disease.
