From the supplier: Virginia's Fauquier County School Board and County Board of Supervisors developed a plan to consolidate their administrative functions in 1993. The implementation of the plan was overseen by a steering committee and a consolidated services administrator. Results of the consolidation include the speeding up of payroll processing, and cost savings of $200,000 and $60,000 in the consolidated personnel and finance departments, respectively.
