From the supplier: Public Risk Database Project manager Gregory L. Trout fears insurers will use information from the database to the detriment of public-sector risk pools. Insurers argue that if they contribute data to the $5.2 million database prject then they should have access to the resulting information. The data could, however, have a positive effect on pools because excess risk and reinsurers might be prompted to buy.
