From the supplier: European ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) manufacturers have developed a set of tests for EPDM rubber evaluation. The unsaturation content of EPDM was determined by using analytical test methods such as infrared spectroscopy, gas chromatography and iodometric titration. Test methods such as photometric detection, high pressure liquid chromatography and infrared spectroscopy were used to analyze the stabilizer content of EPDM. The test methods used to evaluate the oil content and viscosity of EPDM are also discussed.
