From the supplier: Berstorff and Advanced Elastomer Systems have improved the physical foaming technology using water as a physical blowing agent to foam thermoplastic elastomers (TPE). The companies have also developed a new equipment to further boost the quality of foamed TPE profile extrusions. Both firms have produced TPE profiles with a superior foam structure regarding cell size, cell uniformity and cell physical properties by using the new TPE-water foaming process and extrusion systems.
