From the supplier: Texas Insurance Commissioner Elton Bomer has begun investigating insurance companies' alleged misuse of commercial general liability policy standard pollution exclusions because the claims do not involve the cleaning up of industrial pollution sites. Critics of the review claim regulators were deliberately misled by insurance companies about the exclusions. The Texas Department of Insurance stated the request for the review came from the Texas Office of the Public Insurance Counsel.
