In 1977, Microsoft's Bill Gates and Paul Allen were still trying to peddle their BASIC language out of a hotel room, Michael Dell was only 13 years old, Apple Computer's Steven Jobs was working on the Apple II in a garage, while future Sun Microsystems CEO Scott McNealy was working as a foreman at a Rockwell International factory.
