From the supplier: University professors relate their experiences during a Soros Preschool Project-sponsored workshop conducted in Kiev, Ukraine. The purpose of the workshop was to ensure that democratic principles will dominate in the educational institutions of Eastern and Central Europe and the former Soviet Union countries. The Ukrainian preschool teachers were grateful for the opportunity to meet to discuss their experiences and ideas. Similarly, the university professors learned that despite the cultural and language differences, teachers have more similarities than differences.
