From the supplier: TVW's live coverage of proceedings of the state government via the Internet and cable television is becoming a vital communication tool for citizens in Washington and Nebraska. The Internet affords many advantages over television due to its adaptability to the flexible scheduling of legislative sessions. Other states, such as Louisiana and California, are planning to provide similar services. Meanwhile, audio coverage of legislative sessions is already being provided on Web sites in states such as Wisconsin, Nevada, Texas, Missouri, Georgia and Florida.
