From the supplier: Outlined are the requirements for setting up a network system to be utilized by a kindergarten through 12th grade education system. Once the needs of the school have been determined, a project plan should be instituted where funds are allocated and design is clarified. Next, the wiring system must be developed with consideration of inter-building backbone cabling, intra-building vertical and horizontal backbone cabling and distribution to the classroom. Next, the network must include the hub wiring to support the network computers. These wiring hubs should be standardized between schools. The final component is the network operating system. The school will need to chose an operating system, select an internet domain name, develop a web server and define departmental servers based on individual planning. Next, an internet service provider must be chosen. Finally, ongoing support is the key to a successful network infrastructure.
