From the supplier: NASA has teamed up with several universities with the aim of developing foods and recipes that can be grown and prepared in future space habitats. Cornell University, one of the universities helping NASA develop a sustainable food supply for astronauts, raised a number of crops, such as potatoes and fresh herbs, in a bioregenerative life support system. The Cornell research team then developed several nutritious, affordable and easy-to-cook recipes which astronauts can prepare from these crops.
