From the supplier: Bob Mercer, statehouse reporter for the Rapid City (Iowa) Journal, was first to report a story about environmental and financial problems at a Black Hills gold mine. Local television programs carried the story without crediting Mercer. The Journal is reconsidering its contractual obligations to the Associated Press in light of this incident, including the possibility of establishing a site on the Internet.
