From the supplier: It is important for employees to practice good etiquette because they are seen as an extension of their companies. Poor behavior on their part will reflect on the organization. A study of business enterprises of all sizes reveals that most employees cannot define the term 'etiquette' precisely, but they can tell when it is missing. The findings also reveal a number of common faux pas among employees. One of these is failing to remember people's name, which is an indication that not enough attention was given when people were being introduced. Another sign of impoliteness is dropping names during conversations. It implies that the speaker has nothing much to say and would rather talk about other people. Other common faux fas include using vulgarities, being late for appointments, and divulging secrets.
