From the supplier: A coalition of 30 citizens' organizations have filed a petition to the Attorney General of California to begin the process of repealing the charter of Union Oil Co of California (Unocal). The coalition claimed that Unocal violated corporate laws, is liable for the 1969 oil blowout in the Santa Barbara Channel and other actions causing pollution, committed hundreds of occupational health and safety violations and has treated its employees unfairly.
