From the supplier: The use of lethal injection for execution of criminals has eliminated the drama from the execution. Reporters who witnessed the proceedings in the death room deem the process as unemotional. This starkly contrasts with the execution scenario in 1936 when public executions were still allowed. Some states resort to hanging, electric chairs or gas chambers instead of lethal injection. Despite the change in methods, the executions were still performed perfunctorily.
