From the supplier: A study was conducted to determine whether girls can succeed in a sport education setting. The study recruited 35 girls, together with 35 boys, for a 20-week floor hockey unit. Success was measured by measuring the students' opportunity to respond (OTR). The study found a direct relationship between length of the season to the girls' success rate or OTR. It was also found that girls preferred the co-educational sport education setting to single sex physical education unit.
