From the supplier: A request-for-proposal (RFP) is the most objective way for associations to choose the right association management company (AMC) for their purposes. An RFP is the most businesslike approach in defining the scope of work to be done by the AMC and the payment for its service. Associations should do some careful preselection in narrowing the choice for the right AMC. One association may be sending RFPs to AMCs that specialize on national organizations while another may be sending its RFPs to AMCs that manage 10 to 30 associations.
