From the supplier: The plague that swept across Europe beginning in 1347 and lasted, virtually unbroken, through the end of 1699, has generated a massive amount of historical literature. Classical explanations of the plague are problematic as some accounts of the symptoms of disease were strikingly inconsistent with those of bubonic plague.
