From the supplier: A survey of 364 state legislative candidates shows that the vast majority of candidates believed that it would be unethical to raise unproven allegations from a lawsuit. A majority of candidates also disapproved of tactics that highlighted youthful indiscretions and previously unknown homosexual relationships. A majority of candidates, however, felt it was proper to bring up matters related to bankruptcy and the hiring of illegals. Other issues tackled by the survey were campaign finance reforms, campaign tone, media coverage, campaign professionalism and voter participation.
