High-Performance Computing Site Profile: The Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modeling

This IDC Insight profiles Warsaw University's Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modeling (Interdyscyplinarne Centrum Modelowania Matematycznego I Komputerowego), or ICM.

ICM has built a global reputation for leadership in scientific visualization. In 1995, the center was recognized by the Computerworld Smithsonian awards program for its pioneering work in visualizing mathematical models. ICM also has world-class capabilities in numerical weather forecasting and is increasingly active in the newer fields of bio-IT and grid computing.
