This IDC study reviews the systems, vendors, and trends in the 2004 global server blade market and forecasts the outlook for server blades over the course of the next five years. "The server blade market continues to be one of innovation and positive growth," said Kelly Quinn, senior research analyst in the Enterprise Computing Group at IDC. "While the markets in the United States and Western Europe continue to lead in terms of market share, we've found through this study that some upset may be in store for the market share split of server blade deployments across the various global regions over the coming few years."
