Description
In the early 1700's, a string of colonies ruled by the King of England stretched along the Atlantic coast of America. Peter, the son of one of these hardy settlers loved the wilderness, and he especially loved to climb that huge pine tree up on the hill. One day the Mast Agent cut the tree down. Peter followed his tree all the way through its process of becoming a mast, all the while working to help build the ship it would become a part of. When the time came for the ship to sail Peter signed on to be a deck hand, learned to ropes of shipping, and was able to stay with his "pine."
