Lao: Basic Course (Volume 2)

FSI Lao Basic Course, Volume 2, is a continuation of the introductory material presented in Volume 1. It provides an organized set of materials designed to produce greater proficiency in the use of the Lao language and at the same time to provide a general introduction to Lao culture. As in Volume 1, the usage represented here is the Vientiane dialect, which is used in official government communications and is generally the most useful for American students. Lao is spoken in Laos and Thailand.
