This paper presents a case history of how an institution of higher education for women (www.helenakaushik.org) established in 1999 in a rural part of India is promoting human rights and entrepreneurship. This endeavor has certainly improved the lives and prospects of many women, and indeed the community as a whole in a rural Rajasthan region. Achievements of the college in improving women's education, human rights and potential for entrepreneurship are discussed. This case study shows that entrepreneurship and human rights are enhanced through education.
