He was a fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He wrote over a hundred detective novels, many featuring his charachter Ronald Camberwell, private investigator.
Richard Horatio Edgar Wallace was a British journalist, novelist, and playwright. More films (over 160) have been made of his novels than of any other author's. He was the co-creator with Draycott Dell of "King Kong". He is also famous for the J. G. Reeder detective series, The Four Just Men, The Ringer, and the charachter The Green Archer.
Richard Marsh was the pen name of British writer Richard Bernard Heldmann. He attended Eton and Oxford University. He was famnous for the supernatural thriller The Beetle: A Mystery. This book was even more popular than Bram Stoker's Dracula.
