Self-realisation is the supreme purpose of life, its real meaning and highest aim. When a person suffers from a sense of imperfection or lack of meaning in the material achievements of life, he longs for higher ideals and attainments. He keenly desires a fulfillment which is complete, constant and indestructible. Such fulfillment is the highest realization.
