In this sequel to "The Most Haunted House in England," noted psychical researcher Harry Price examines the phenomena at the Rectory, built in 1863. He recounts the history of the Rectory and its Rectors and their families. In 1939 it burned down after "spirits" had threatened to destroy it by fire. Mr. Price was asked to investigate the happenings such as bells ringing, strange lights, repeated visions of a "nun" and more. He leased it 1937-38 to study new evidence, and interviewed some 200 witnesses. This fascinating story of paranormal activity has enthralled readers since its first publication in 1946. Mr. Price chose to update it with new evidence in 1947.
