***COURTESY OF TWOBEARS BOOKS*** In the maiden issue of NEXUS, we called on readers to move beyond lamentations that the academy ignored Miller or else focused exclusively on issues of sexuality and censorship. That issue and the subsequent one certainly delivered on my request. Much work remains, however, and literally dozens of Miller's texts require the basic spadework of close analysis, not to mention more esoteric approaches. In essays on topics such as LE CAS Miller and Miller's spiritual kinship with Ariaki, this issue continues to trek some of this unexplored terrain. In addition, it examines figures such as Durrell, Nin, Perles, and June Mansfield, and offers two portrayals of Miller's later years, a fine tribute poem, discussion of a play on Miller and Nin, and a phenomenal Miller essay, "Paris Revisited."
