This IDC study looks at the responses from the end-user community in Australia and the expectations around cloud computing, given that a lot has been written in the press about the service provider (SP) market.

"Cloud will give rise to the strategies that ITSPs, channels, and telecom companies will need to consider for the next 1–3 years. To ignore the impact on how IT resources shift to cloud is a non-committal response to the increased enquiries from end-user organisations," says Linus Lai, associate director, Research and Consulting, IDC Australia.
